Miscellaneous
These artworks were created as single pieces; part of no collection in particular.
Pops Series.
There are four artworks in my POPS SERIES, which is based on the 50’s Soda Shops that brought the family together conveying a sense of harmony and fun. Simple objects created intricately with delicate brush strokes with both opaque and metallic acrylic painting adding beautiful texture to each painting.
These are four paintings that can be hung together as a set.
LONG POP - Currently not available.
London Skyline.
Inspired by one of my favorite cities, this painting brings out the color and life that is usually left out in such a cloudy, gray and rainy city. London is so much more than just gray skies.
Harley.
Harley was created with golden metallic markers with different tip points. It was my first time doing a proper illustration instead of a painting. I only created 2 artworks in this medium. The other piece has been sold.
My largest format in acrylic painting to this day. It is one that has a very special place in my heart. While going through one of the toughest periods of my life, health-wise, this painting was my escape and a huge challenge for me at the same time. It took around four months to finish. This particular painting brought me a sense of joy on a very difficult year.
Hidden Bear.
Queen of Power.
Often times people underestimate a woman’s strength and capacity. QUEEN OF POWER is inspired by the queen in a deck of cards yet I modernized the elements (diamonds, hearts and spades) merging them all in one which symbolize her grace and value, her capacity to love, and her strength and resilience. “Never underestimate her strength” and “Never underestimate her power” are written inside the hearts as a reminder to realize a woman’s overall capacity.
Queen of Luck.
Inspired by the queen of clubs in a deck of cards, I modernized the elements placing focus on luck. This is a reminder of a woman’s grace, value, and how sometimes it would be nice to think of her as a lucky charm. If we all realized a woman’s real value, women would be more protected and safe from harm. Women would be valued more.
Stallion.
As a Mexican, I knows how important and special horses are within the Mexican Culture. I wanted to create an artwork detailing this beautiful strong and powerful being, giving it more detail and strength through my use of metallics and delicate strokes; all of these reminiscent of the Aztec tribes. It is based on the first ever painting that I sold when I was-unknowingly-starting my career as an artist.
Frida Pop.
This is one of my first paintings. FRIDA POP represents my Mexican roots, merged with a tribal and colorful style along with my newfound passion for art. This was a painting that wasn’t for sale until recently as it was part of my private collection. It was the first portrait I did with my technique.
Birds Series.
After visiting Australia and taking in its unbelievable nature, and more so its amazing bird species, I was inspired to paint a few exotic birds. I loved the idea of making an intricate bird, ever more intricate with my art style and put it on canvas. These birds are some of the most beautiful creations within living things. I chose 4 different species which I found inspiring: Toucan, Kingfisher, Blue Jay and Crested Cockatoo.
These paintings have found a home.
