This is one of my first paintings. FRIDA POP represents my Mexican roots, merged with a tribal and colorful style along with my newfound passion for art. The color palette was purposefully selected to represent Mexico and its culture. It was my first largest format at the time and it was the first portrait I did with my technique too. This was a painting that I wanted to hold on to, until a point when I was ready to let go years later.
